brake problems
#1
Replaced my front brake lines and then had to bleed the brakes. Me and my buddy did this successfully but a day or so later I took it around the block and the brakes were spongy again. This was the first time I drove it since bleedin, any ideas?

maybe coming from the rear brakes. thats what gives the firm pedal.
If you can't fix it with a hammer and a welder then your gonna need a new one!

Bleed the entire system again in the following order (RR, RL, FR, FL). A few pumps of fluid with no bubbles does not mean air is not is the system so Do the procedure twice and make sure there is plenty of fluid in the master each time.

Might as well replace the 3 rear lines as well (if you haven't already done so). They're cheap and the new ones will make a difference--I could literally feel the old ones swell up when my daughter pushed the pedal down on her '90---very un-good. Also it's very simple to pull your brake booster and check the rod length to make sure it's correct. Look in your Haynes manual and it'll clue you in on how to do it---takes less than 5 minutes if you have your wrenches & sockets handy..........
