This sounds great! I'm in. I just need as much advance notice as possible so I can schedule around my work travel and other commitments. :xyxthumbs:

that is too funny.
time has been flying by. sept and oct are filling up here. i'd love to gather a few folks together to do some wrenching though.
i'll throw my place out there as a potential gathering spot. i have a 3 car gar w/lift and a bunch of tools. if anyone else wants to volunteer their pad as a meeting spot, chime in. i'm all ears.
i'd really like to work on a rig that needs some suspension upgrades or other kinds of mechanical upgrades. not trying to do any body work.

how about Saturday, Oct 1?
ok, it sounds like it will probably be here at my place, just for ease of arranging this. i'd love to travel around if we want to do this on an annual basis.
i'm going to send out some pm's to see whose rig could be brought here for some work to be done. IF you want your rig to be wrenched on and have the parts, or can get them by then, post up or PM me!!!

I'm SO tempted to throw Big Country into the mix but I think there would be more head scratching than wrenching going on (at least I do more head scratching than wrenching).
My main concern with it now is the 4-link and re-fabbing the upper bars. That would create brake line re-routing & fuel line re-routing. It also needs the windshield put in (have the rubber and glass). I could also possibly round up the locker and install kit to put a gear/locker in the rear end. It needs a new radiator and would require fabbing new mounts, but I don't have the cash flow to spend on that right now. A few other odds and ends like limit straps and bump stops......
but I'd rather work on someone else's junk than my own!

waiting on chuzie to see if/when he is available and if he could come up here. does anyone else know how to set gears up? it would be great to have another person around who could. it would make the day go a lot better.
