77 update in Raleigh
#1
Folks, I'm new to CB and am enjoying it. I have a 77 EB that needs some restoration work. I don't have the time nor expertice to tackle project. Question, Does anyone know of a reputable outfit in the Raleigh area who has experience with EB's? Thanks

There are several guys on this website that are in your area. They should chime in pretty soon in regards to what you are looking for. Only shop I know of is NickTrix in north Charlotte area. From what I have seen on his website he does some dang good work. He too is on this website. Welcome to the brotherhood!

There's a few of us around, yup. I don't have any suggestions for shops, I'm doing things the old fashioned way with some help from friends (some part of the club, some not). Lemme know if I can help with anything.

"its a ford and a bronco at that..we all work on them. Its the keeping them together that we have the problem with." Welcome aboard...
If you can't fix it with a hammer and a welder then your gonna need a new one!

Frankie77, Welcome to the club....Most of us here work on our own mess because we have more time (or find it) than money....Half the fun of owning an EB is wrenching on it, cursing at it, and even threatening to sell it from time to time....However, I am sure there are members in the Raleigh area who can recommend reputable shops if you decide to go that route....Being down on the coast, I don't have a clue what's available there....Confusedcratchhe:

Thanks for the replies and offers of help. I turned a few wrenches back in the day, but now it's more than I can deal with. I talked to Nick and he can't get to it until August 2012 and I was hoping to get it back on the road well before that.
Anyway, I'll plug along. Thanks again
