ok... Going to pick it up tonight... drag er home (Thanks, Ronnie!). Gonna send the FICM to circuitboardmedics.com and have them repair my FICM... while they're at it, gonna have them professionally solder my overhead display (my superglue trick lasted one winter)...
We'll see if #6 is really bad or just poor performance due to FICM. If FICM doesn't get me running, I'll be tearing this thing down and doing ALL injectors and head gaskets.... In for a long haul, so let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Asiel,
You might want to save on shipping, they're in Moore, SC... not sure how far that is for ya to drive... Wish they were closer to me, I'd drive there and back in a day to get this back on the road Monday!

Welp. that blows. put the repaired FICM in (report shows 36.1V before repair, 48.7V afterwards)... cranks like a mofo, no start. Looks like more diagnostic for me tomorrow. :banghead: When I get this fawker back up... time for two new rear tires cuz, they'll be burned in a big plume of smoke in the cul-de-sac, bitches.
but hey, at least my overhead console (lie-o-meter) works now...

The powerstrokes are notorius for not starting if 1 injector is bad.

Just sitting here thinkin... and drinkin... what's the chances that my batts are low after sitting for a week... I only unhooked the positive on both batts.. With key off, they're both at 12.2V +/- each... (term-to-term). I'll throw the meter on in the am with the starter engaged, but isn't that low?
I'm only "supposed" to have my #6 bad... not #1. but I doubt their diagnosis since my FICM was bad. This thing fired right up and drove onto trailer at dealer, then off at my crib... took out FICM, and put FICM back in... maybe I bent a pin... More disassembly and testing tomorrow, I reckon.

I didn't mean #1 injector. Just if one of the injectors. And also my sis had a bad battery once and hers would spin over but not crank. hers turned out to be a battery. May wanna load test the passenger side bat.
