My new ride!
#11
The rack was made by Drew Peroni. I think the 37's will work much better than the 39.5's. It does have a terra low kit in the t-case. Not sure when I'll get into wrenching on it. Got some projects to do first...

I'll probably start a build thread soon on operation Mall Crawler.

Mall Crawler thread started. (that was the old ECORS racer).

On a different note, today I mounted some 36" IROKS up to my 32 bolt beadlocks with 2" of backspacing. That should work pretty nicely. Here are a few pics of all that. I also used some Airsoft bb's (about 10 oz per tire) to balance them. Never tried it before. Nick H uses Dyna Beads in his and likes them. Dyna Beads were $20 per 10 oz. I got enough BB's to do 10 wheels/tires for $30... Hope they work!

The 4 plastic cups were my highly sophisticated measuring devices. 1kg is about 35 oz. I split the bag up with 3 and 1/2 cups and added some to the 4th cup from an unused bag, leaving that bag with 30 oz (approx 10 oz per cup). Pretty high tech, huh?

Got some new shoes for her, both a street (BFG KM2 in the 315/75/16 variety) and some trail tires (36" IROK's). Might look kinda goofy with the BFG's on her. Never thought a 35" tire would actually look small...

Thanks guys! I like the 36's a whole lot more than the 39's. These beadlocks have less offset, so the tires stick out some and add a little stability. Can't be a bad thing, right?
