Didnt have antifreeze in it and early December I cracked the block. :crying: Its sitting in the back yard. I have another engine that I can put in it, but I also have a 4x4 longbed crewcab frame and a non A/C cab for more engine room, HP60 for the front, divorced Transfer case, Divorced 203 front case(for doubler) two rear D60s, longbed, blah, blah, blah. Front axle is rusty on the outside, needs cleanup and brakes, need to build a crossmember for the divorced case. Reason for divorced case, plan on putting a Cummins in it when I can afford it. Just need a raise and get some debts paid off. :banghead:

Today I was comparing my Bronco's height to a 2002 F250 Crewcab that I am familiar with how tall a 79 is next to it. I knew the Bronco had 34's on it when I bought it but figured they fit because they were 9.5's. My truck is almost as tall as the F250's and stock it wouldnt be, plus the 31's have 4" of room around the fender, and the front wheels are angled just a little in \---o--/ not |---o--| or as a lot of the TTBs are /---o--\.
The truck seems to have about a 2 inch lift!
The front coils are a progressive coils and the rear is exactly level to it. So my plan over the weekend it to try and fix some 35's and see if they rub, if they rub a little then I'm trimming the fenders and saving for 35's, if they rub a lot then 33's are in order.

Well of course this is unloaded(no driver.) Maybe I need to take the lift out of the passenger side so it will ride level with me in it. Confusedcratchhe:

Is that your designated parking place, or do you just like parking back there? I've seen your truck in the same parking spot every time I make it over that way.

The Assistant Administrator/N Chas Council Member Kirt Taylor moved the concrete barrier and wrote my name on it for the crew cab, so yes it is my spot. :hysterical:
When your boss puts your name there then you have to park there!

Ugh, guess I haven't posted anything for a while.
Put some cracked up 35 on the Bronco, I figured they would rub like hell, but they only hit the firewall when turning, 2.5 lift seems to be enough. Rebuilt the carb a while back and that cleared up a lot of issues, drove it for a daily driver for a while.
Took it to Uwharrie and is did amazing, was expecting the carb to cut out at the angles, but it never seemed to be affected by that. The brakes are getting mushy, researching now of what to upgrade to. Hydroboost, F350 Master and Booster? Heard the Astro van has a good Hydro setup that will work, looking at Discs on the 9 inch too, so I need something that will work with that.
Did the 3G upgrade, real easy, took longer than anything figuring out that I did not need a bunch of the original wires anymore.
It is an XLT so I want to get the cruise control working, need to get a quick disconnect for the door wiring and put removable pins in the hinges. Going to take the carpet out soon too.
I like the idea of being able to have the doors and the top on sometimes to make it a rainy day vehicle when I need to, but take them off to go playing and not have to worry about everything getting wet if it does rain.
Took the tank out yesterday after the sloshing at Uwharrie dislodged a bunch of rust. What a mess, there is no cleaning up all the rust and now the tank leaks from pulling it out.
I looked at putting a truck tank in it for extra clearance, but the truck tank is wider and longer even though it is not deep. I would have to move a cross member and slide the tank in from where the bumper bolts in, instead of putting it in from underneath. Probably not doing that, but I do have 2 weeks to think about it (next payday).
I have to get a front bumper for it too, I have the stocker and its in great shape but there is no way to hook to it. What to build something tight in, and has a receiver for my winch.

Great to see the updated info! I still need to get with you about the 3G upgrade. I might try to call you tomorrow, cause I was thinking of going to LKQ when I get off work.
