well, i was hoping to surprise everyone at the turn and burn...but it never made the trip. while heading down I-26(MM 180) we blew the outside rear pass tire:rubeyes:, went to pull over and change it...UNTIL the rear inside driver tire blew!!! the rv(while flat towing bronco) began to fish tail violently!! i thought the bronco then broke away, send me into extreme fish'tailing. I was very lucky to save all of it and Doug and myself!!:notworthy: once we got tires on, Doug drove the 77 to my house following me in the rv...cruising at 45mph. so far..i havent set foot back in the rv cratchhe:
heres a few pics

decided to fix a couple small things on the camper. changed some of the wiring, and now both batteries are charging while connected to shore power.(before only the aux batt would change.
also began converting some of the light fixtures to LED(those cheapies)
conversion was super easy and they are super brite and draw almost no amps!! heres a couple pics, still need to replace the large cable from the generator to the rv power outlet(the tire blew out and shredding the cable)

yes they have 3M adhesive on the back. they do not have the 1156 plug tho. for this to work the best, i gutted the light bulb socket...making it hollow. once gutted, the socket has a 1/4" hole in the back/base of the socket(where the power wire came through originally) i then ran the double wire from the LED threw that hole and soldered or butt crimped to the 3way switch or the wires(if they were long enough from the switch)
i have seen the 1156 plug w/harness...but they get pricey per light if ya wanted to make it easy...but really...this was super easy. the 1st two dual light fixtures were soldered to the 3way switch and the last dual light had plenty of wire, so i was able to simply use butt connectors. all in all...those 3 conversions only took 1 hr...and i was taking my slow time doing them.
on a side note...thes 20 LED lights sell for $26.01- thats .78cents each!!!! a drop in LED conversion bulb will be $5-15 for a pre-made. i thought this would be the easiest way to get a brite, long lasting, trouble free LED for the camper. heck its been a while since ive bought 1156 bulbs...but this may even be cheaper than the original bulbs that get hot and use the chit outa some power
