Both! LOL pressure wash, wire brush, finally sandblasted it.

i have been coming down the road youre on for the past 2 years and im so close to being back on the road, i can taste it... another 8 months and i should be good. looks like you are making faster progress than i have... good luck, and godspeed...

I'm cheating, it's in my body shop! If I was doing it all myself, it would never get taken apart, much less put back together! cratchhe:

Full blown project? I don't think there is any other kind no matter the initial intention. Looking good though. Wish I had a body shop to do my project in. You are very fortunate to have facilities. Can't wait to see the finished product.

It has a small lift 3-4 inches, 35 inch tires, I'm going to leave it in place. Motor is pretty stock 302 that was running good when we pulled it last month, probably just clean it up and a some chrome. The interior is my next challenge, I've got stock front and back seats, they're blue vinyl I would like to do a matching green interior, but I've got a base interior and the only green I've seen that I like is the Ranger (?) cloth houndstooth. I'm going to look at after market seats before I make a decision on the interior. I do need a headliner for the hardtop, we patched some on the top and it needs to be covered. upergrin: Hopefully we'll have more progress next week!:xyxthumbs:
