MEB At URE - May 19, 2012
#1
I have set up May 19, 2012 as a URE run for the Mid-Atlantic Early Broncos. Initially I was thinking about just a day run, but if there is more interest, we can turn it into a full weekend event and run Friday, Saturday and part of Sun. like we do in the fall.

Well, I've heard from a number of people coming in from further distances, so we are going to make this a 2-day event. Dates are now set at May 18-19, 2012. Still going to be just trail riding and good Bronco fellowship, just going to have an extra day of itConfusedupergrin:

Maybe take another dinner trip to the Boondocks again

I'll be there in my buggy that weekend. Got a campsite in arrowhead in the "tent loop" behind the bathhouse. Swing by Sat. evening if you guys want, we usually do a cookout then go do some night riding.

Look for this buggy

Here's what I posted about the event on ClassicBroncos.

This is planned as a 2 day ride at the Uwharrie National Forest. I don't have any other plans for cookouts, etc. This weekend is going to be fairly unstructured and open to changes.

Friday plans are to hit the trails around 9~10:00 there shouldn't be too many people there so we should be able to run all of the trails in the forest and some of them twice or more, we'll decide what trails to ride based on the groups capabilities. Plans for lunch can either be on the trail, back at camp or run to the Outpost, whatever people want to do. After dinner we can go out for a night run or just relax back at camp.

Saturday can be the same as Friday except there will be more people on the trails so we may not be able to cover as much ground.

Hopefully most of the group will have CB's on. We'll plan on channel 15 for right now as our com channel.
