Well,
Charles and I actually made it. Had a great day, and ran all the trails except the new sawmill whoopde do trail. It was a little warm and very dusty. Even the big mudholes were just about dry.
We represented the club with a little trash cleanup while riding. Didn't start out with plans to pick up trash, but it's hard to just leave it on the trail.
This is just the passenger floorboard of my rig from 2 trails, ****ey Bell and Dutch John. We dumped about this much at one of the parking lot trash bins after picking it off of Slabpile and Falls Dam. Charles had at least this much if not more with him when we were finished. I stopped by Janet's at the campground to see if we could get credit for the trail cleanup hours for the club, but she wasn't there. I'll get up with here in a couple of weeks when I'm there again.
I had my GPS with me to see how far off my speedo was. I was surprised to learn I'm only going 2-3 mph faster than what my speedo says. Got a little streak of bravery or stupidity depending on how you look at it on the way home and hit this speed "very briefly" on the hwy. It probably could have gone a bit faster with better tires.
Had a great day overall with no major breakage. Only one small issue with a battery on Charles' rig on the bottom of the Daniel hill climb. Maybe next time we'll see a few more CB4X4 members there.

Looks like fun. I hate leaving trash on the trail too and usually stop to pick it up.

I've got 5 bags of trash that I got out of the back of the 77. I want to take some pics of the trash to give to you for the cleanup day idea.
It was a good day, minus the Optima dying. Wierd. It reads 12V but has no amps. It was fine 30 minutes prior to the truck dying near the bottom of Daniel, when I re-started it after we took a break on the rocky mtn loop.
We had to shuttle a 4 wheeler operator down some of Dutch John. Had a rookie flip the thing down the big hill as they were just starting into the trail. I don't think that she was having any fun at all...
