It's my slack butt... too many irons in the fire, I reckon...

I need to merge the threads from this "old" forum, to the new db and then launch... (of course, that means some cleaning up of the conflicts)

sorry, fellas. I suck.

Well, the fact you have volunteered to do this for free automatically prevents you from sucking.

That being said, the health of this forum is at the equivalent of a 98 year old granny who just suffered a stroke and is on life support. We have to make a choice to pull the plug before she dies a miserably long and drawn out death OR we take action and give her what she needs to survive.

This site is effectively dead; toe tag included. The new forum MAY be what we need to encourage participation but the ball is in your court.

PLEASE do whatever you can to get it up and running and let us know if there is anything we can do to help facilitate that goal.

Thanks for all you do for us JayT. I know if must be tough taking on such a large project with so much going on in your life; just know you are appreciated!

BTW- Better not forget you only have 2.5 months to get ready for URE!!!!

Call me a pessimist- I'm fine with that, but:

I'm not sure that a renovation will garner much additional support for the site. I think there are a limited number of folks around that are involved with Broncos or a forum like this. It seems that a lot of 'Bronco folk' near me are pretty old school with limited computer saavy or desire.

That said, I appreciate all you guys do for the board/club. I'd like to help out in any way that I can. One thing that 'may' help is to update the main page frequently with either pictures or some random story that would garner more interest than something 4 months out of date. Just a thought and am not trying to step on any toes.

I wouldnt say its dead, maybe slow, at worse dorment. I am guilty as anybody for not posting up, just havent put much time in the shop.
I truly feel a new look to the site with more upgrades will draw people in.
Chuck and I have talked about updating some of the sections to have more info as well as the new system should have more photo options.

I for one cant thank Jason for all his time and effort, its just I think we need
to get things up and going before fall kicks in. Especialy so we can hype up
the URE run. Already overdue for posting it up.

If there is anything I can do to help get things going just let me know!

You just validated my argument. The URE announcement was posted a month ago; it too has had little traffic.
