Tranny is in!!!

Guys...

Well I got the rebuilt tranny installed. Seems to be working fine. I had the tranny guy at the local ford dealership do the rebuild in his spare time.


The cost for this project....

Rebuild Kit with shift kit from Summit racing....$200
Labor to rebuild....$125.00
13 quarts of fluid $25.00
Reman torque converter...$107.00
Filter....$12.00

Grand total....$469.00

I also replace the T-case mounts while I had it apart about another 50 dollars(Got the discount from Toms 8) )
1974, 331 stroker, Holley TA,Dana20 twin stick w/terra low gears, 456 axle gears, detroit in the rear, true track up front ,MSD ignition, 37x12.50 PJs, 9k warn-tabor

Not a bad deal. It adds up quickly, but still not too shabby for "like new" shifting Big Grin
