Hey guys. Just read on the NC 4x4 site that they are having the Veteran Ride this same weekend, also read Jay's post about it also. Looks like they have quite a bit planned. They are meeting at the URE training center (field across the street from the Outpost) 9 am Sat. morning, with a poker run during the day, return at 3 and a big bon fire that night.
More info about the ride http://www.nc4x4.com/forum/index.php?thr...nc.125366/
Any interest in participating? Or do we just want to do our own thing?
Nick

Thanks for the link Nick. Just speaking for me- I would be interested in attending that. Not sure how it would work with our whole club, but they are a great bunch of guys and an even better cause.

I am definitely down with that!
We usually meet @ 9AM on Saturday at the outpost so this works out perfectly. Plus, the 3PM deadline gives us a good breaking point for the afternoon to finish the poker run @ the training center, refuel, and head back to camp to prep for a night run.
Nick, I know you have access to the NC site so please let them know they can expect at least a few of us to be participating, in some capacity, at the event.
