Looking for a Holley 390 cfm carb
#1
Anybody got a decent Holley 390 cfm four barrel or similar carb? I've got an Edelbrock #1903 Q-jet carb to trade. If not looking to trade just let me know how much you are asking.

If u decide to buy a new carb look at the Edelbrock 500 cfm carb. I have the electric choke version and it really does well with plenty of get up and go. Worked right out of the box, but pd a guy to fine tune it. Good luck in ur search

Thanks crawdad. Going to be putting the carb on a stock (other than headers and Offenhauser intake) 250ci inline 6. Any idea if the 500 cfm will be too big?

My bad! I assumed a V8. May have better luck on posting this on Classic Bronco's website. More fish in the sea than in a pond! Wink You should have way better luck there.

i wouldnt man...i did the same thing cuz clifford told me i was gonna need a 390cfm. they said i might "wash" the cylinder walls with fuel...so i bought a new one $450!!!! what a load of crap...it ran so rich! basically the thing wouldnt flow the air it needed...so i slapped a stock holley 600 on there and it was perfect! ran great and put down 170hp/300tq at tires. i think we did go back and drop a jet size on the 600 tho.

im telling ya...dont waste time with a 390!!! get a more common on the shelf carb 600 or less and be done
