OFFICIAL 2014 Carolina Broncos HELL WEEK event page
#31
Sure is! I have a trailer. The way my schedule is looking, I'm doubtful. We are wide open at work.

It is tough to ask someone to take a week off of work, especially these days when schedules are crazy and budgets are tight.

Who is strongly considering doing this? There hasn't been much chatter. Do we have six?

The PayPal link has been added to the original announcement post above. A running list of paid participants will be updated as they are received. Let's do this!

Well shit, at least someone is considering it. I really thought this thread would have had a little more activity by this point.

You know folks, this wasn't my idea; like I really need another flippin reason to drive my junk all the way up from Florida, beat the piss out of it, and drive all the way back.

This was originally conceived by Chuck and Moody years ago. Ever since, they have never shut the hell up about wanting to do this. I just got sick and tired of them always running their mouths around the camp fire so I merely took it upon myself to make their idea a reality.

Maybe those two beotches will chime in sometime between now and the apocalypse.

I feel better now. :thefinger:

I figured..... but just wanted to stir the pot! That would only be 949 miles from Chuzietown to Greenville NC! (Home of the Attic which Biffy used to frequent on his younger days to indulge in too many beers, too many southern bells, and too loud Southern Rock! ......eehhh maybe it wasn't so bad? So how confining are these dates. I should find out August 5th how my April '14 Schedule will go.......

The dates are based on many factors some of which include park opening dates, meet and greet, holidays and weather. They may be an to slide to the left or right slightly but not much. Let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate you.

Well here we go. I've done a lot of soul searching on this and Ive come to the conclusion that I just cant do this trip right now. To be completely honest I just cannot afford it. If I hadnt gone out on limb and started my own business late last year and was still making my old salary I'd be on it like stink on shit. Thats just not the case. Whilst my rig is more reliable than Chuzies junk will ever be its just not up to the task at hand. Trying to fool myself and everyone else that its ready for this type of event would be irresponsible at best. Truthfully Im gonna have to start saving now just to make the November run this year. I promise to start working towards getting it ready if there is anyway this can be pushed back to April of 2015. I just ordered a pile of parts to get the 465/205 swapped in. I would love to have this done for the November run. Bottom line Im officially taking my name out of the hat for April. It is DEFINITELY not a NO its just a NOT RIGHT NOW. Chuzie, you have done a EXCELLENT job of putting this together, and its everything Chuck and I had envisioned. The TIMING just sucks for me right now.
