Thanks for the quick response, I am out of the loop but would love to get up to speed on up coming events. Does anyone know the details of the Durhamtown Tellico trails, is it open?

I'm confused. I thought Duranhamtown was in GA and Tellico was in NC.

The owner of the plantation in GA is working on trying to open the property in NC. The land in NC is privately owned and used to be a sort of private park with limited access/usage. It is supposed to be really nice with some very tough obstacles (impossible for a stockish EB). It has only been open once recently as a 'test' type day to see what kind of interest it generated and that day was like $50, iirc. I didn't go but read about it. The durhamtown dude sounds kinda shady. Personally I don't see this venue working out, unless there are some major changes involved with planning and organization on their part

Nah, nc4x4 and some guys I know well enough to trust their opinion. Perhaps the treasurer here can whip out a fat bankroll from the club treasury and buy us a couple hundred acres to wheel on. Just a thought.
