Isn't the master cylinder the same for disc or drum, just the pro portioning valve is different?

Some MC have bias built into them depending on caliper size as the proportioning valve can only handle so much.

That's the difference in the 76, 77 master cylinder and the other years, right?

The MC is stock for a 76, 77. It has a 70/30 split reservoir.

The carb hasn't been on an engine in 4 years. It ran when it came off.
