Yes, my 60's are from a leaf sprung truck. I just spent a lot of time grinding off all of the old brackets. Here are some before and after grinding pics.

Now you gotta tell us what kind of deal you got on them!

I paid $950 for mine plus shipping. ABF shipping costs me about $250 for the front and rear plus both driveshafts and a PS box on one pallet.

If they have an ABF local, they won't even have to put it on the palley. ABF will take it out of their truck and put it on a pallet. It would cost more than $250 in fuel there and back!

I shopped for 60's for a while. Same boat, couldn't find anything with in a couple hundred miles that wasn't $1500. And most of the time the $1500 axle were just pulled out from under a junker. You can buy a complete truck with the axles cheaper than you can buy just the axles. But most likely you will have to travel.

Good Point. I kept my eye in the IWANNA forever looking for a complete truck for sale. They're out there, I just couldn't find one for the right price. I ended my IWANNA search when I found mine on Ebay.

i looked all over the place and found a guy 10 miles from the house that had a few. the bad he knows what he has and i paid for it. but it was a complete axle. if i was going to do it again i would just save my money and buy a fully built one from say dana trak or someone. $1500 for axle. $200 for hubs.$500 for chromo shafts. plus the "$20" crap rotors and pads and junk.
