I'm lazy. I hate drilling bolts out. My vote is to grind the head of the bolt off with an angle grinder.

Hmm interesting idea the head is inside the frame a bumper bolt but I will look to see if I can grind off the part below the bumper, thanks for the idea.

Picked up an engine stand tonight so hopefully in the next couple of days will get the engine off and hopefully the bolt I stripped the head of inside the frame for the bumper can get off and get the 2nd half of the rotisserie attached and then get the blue body lifted onto the frame after I power wash it. It looks like it will come apart a lot easier then the last one as it looks like someone has had it apart in the last few years.

Ok finally got through the bumper bolts and got it off. After one grinder frying on me and another eating a disc or cutting wheel got it right and got the bolts off and got it onto the rotisserie.

Also got the bolts loose for the leaf springs but can't pull the rear end yet due to the bolt holding the shackle to the frame won't come loose. Also got the rear drive shave disconnected from the rear axle and rear shocks off. Once that bolt for that shackle comes out or the nuts on the u bolt holding the rear leaf springs to the rear end come loose I can pull the rear end.

Yay yay yay I got the bolts out that hold the shackle that holds the rear leaf springs to the frame. Now to get the engine and trans out and will be ready to put the body on the frame but do have a ? or 2 first.

As for the body mounts I see the bushings and I see a broken stud in the middle of them real small. Can I just drill that out and run a bolt through with a nut to hold the body on the frame for now while I cut out the floor pans?

I would suggest getting new bodymount bushing. Best to start out square especially when replacing floors.

I was planning on that but was thinking of getting them and not installing them till after I had everything sand blasted and such so I didn't take a chance of messing them up while cutting the metal out. To be honest I have a set of the bushings that came with all the parts for the project brand new in the box from wild horses but no nuts for any of the bolts just bolts, bushings, washers.

Ok I have finally narrowed down the type of engine I have on this bronco. It is either an FE or FT series engine. All the identifiers match up for those series like the 5 bolt valve covers and the block is flat on bottom plus a few other things. I just havn't figured out the size of engine or if it is an FE or FT series engine. If anyone has any suggestions or pics of how to tell if it is an FE or FT engine please let me know. I know there is a test I will have to do to figure out the size of engine or measure when I take it apart. Thanks
