Land Cruiser Darren just posted the date for the annual Rendezvous meeting with the US Forest Service. It will be on the evening of Dec 12, at the Eldorado Community Center, about 1 mile from the Outpost on Hwy 109. I'm planning to go to and will do a trail ride that morning have some fun first.
Last year the meeting was at 6 or 7 pm. Meeting time for this one hasn't been posted yet. I'd like to meet up and ride at around 10am, give or take, at the outpost, depending on the official meeting time for this year. Post up if you want to go.

Gotta do some figuring on what all I warped/bent up with the floor pans which reulted in my clutch linkage troubles before I can commit to this one.

What is screwed up? Is the body flexing when the clutch pedal is pushed? I have seen really rotted ones do that. Yours looks pretty solid.
Anyone else want to come?
I did find out that the meeting is at 5pm. Open to suggestions on starting time. 10-11am or?

Bart I found that the 2 body lift spacers which are located near the back of the seats have fell out. I am thinking the seat belt bolts I took out when I put the current lap belts in
are what was holding these in. I have turned 2 new spacers and WEPuckett has mailed me a body bushing, hopefully I will be able to jack the body back into some sense of alignment and correct this issue this week.

I should be there, 10:00 at the Outpost sounds good to me. Should be enough time to do most of the trails.
I wouldn't count on them having food at the meeting this time either, so maybe get off the trails by 4:00, pick up some grubb at the Outpost before heading to the community center.

I will be there - and according to the NC4X4 site so will everyone else :doh3:.
It should be fun and hopefully not too terribly crowded, but we'll see.
Finally last weekend, got mine washed inside and out - that red mud really is bad stuff.
I also put the full soft top on last night for the 40° morning and evening highway ride to and from,
I still need to adjust my headlights a bit better for the ride home after the meeting.
