Chuck, glad i finally got to see your Bronco....definitely made me want a trail rig even more than I already do. You got the Fat Bottom Girl set up right...awesome ride.

I liked the old feller hanging out of the car window tryin' to talk to you while billows of smoke were coming out from under the hood! :hysterical: hope the new fitting gets you straightend out.

Nice work on the hydro assist!

well, i installed the heim joints on the tierod(hoping to fix the wobble)...but that didnt do it. took it around the hood and it seemed good. took it on the street to drive a few miles and the "death wobble, tire not balanced, steering wheeling bout to come out of hand" issues showed right back up! ive checked the wheel bearings, slack in the steering, king pins, toe-ed in almost 1/4" going by tires(cant really check at the wheels)

im freaking frustrated:banghead:

i know the tires havent been balanced...but we are talking bout 42's!!! im gonna swap the front to the back and visa versa...then off to the 4x4 shop to try and balance these tires(with DIY bead locks....GOODLUCK!)

I think you need someone driving behind you to take a closer look at how those 42s are behaving on the road at speed.

ok...i installed 2 large 5/8's washers(as suggested), didnt bother putting tires back on to test that out...went straight to golf balls. the washers tightened the steering up alot, worried this might be an issues when driving-but it wasnt at all. got the bronco up to bout 40mph....some minor vibration-but no wobble. seems pretty good so far, will try to get more driving time before trip. i am still aggravated the steering ram is leaking at the shaft....nothing i can do bout it now. i could take it apart, but finding seals tomorrow for it might be a bitch, dont know if its seals or o-rings...o-rings might be easier to find. anyone have a drawing of one of these cylinders?

also, the track bar was new w/ new bushings
