there was one wire going to the distributor that should have had 12v only during the start only, but it had a constant 12v...so i cut that wire and shaaaazaaaam!!!! motor free revs to 6k or more!! mokin:

Rev limiters are for Fur lined B's! That's why the valves float to let you know you should let out of it a little. :beer:

I suggested he make that wire switched in the cab to have an option for a limiter if ever needed. Would be kind of cool to have a option rev limited at the flip of a switch.

BTT...scored me a really nice traction bar from a buddy named Bynum(its made by mountain offroad.com)
picked up some bumpstops, and gonna try to rid the motor of the smog pump. this rain sucks...so hopefully I can start in the next day or so
