We take care of 90 robots for cab assembly and paint application, many different types and sizes of conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic riveting equipment, bulk paint supply and paint mixing systems, facility chillers and boilers, as well as many other system and the building itself.

What an awesome thread :xyxthumbs: Looks like we have some incredibly talented members!

I work for a local grading contractor and move dirt for a living (hence my occupation in my profile is DIRT). Well, I don't get to operate much equipment anymore and do more of the estimating/bidding and project management. We do everything involved with sitework including clearing, mass grading, storm drainage, water & sewer, curb, & paving.

Is anyone else feeling the economy crunch? Development has drastically slowed down in the Upstate and work is getting TIGHT (and cheaper even with the rising costs). Confusedcratchhe:

Would this site be a good place for us to network our jobs and careers? I think it would be cool to find out what everyone does for a living and see if we can help one another advance their business. I design houses and have had my own business for the last 19 years. I design all sizes from 800 sq.ft. to 10,000 sq.ft. I sell plans all over the country and would love to give my bronco brethern an awesome discount. Let me know if there is any interest.:popc1:

Carl - Jessica and I just bought 16 acres and are looking at house designs. What we'd like to do is build a shop first, but give it a livable area that we could move into after we sell our house and build the new house. We want to go with the "barn" look to the shop - maybe living area up stairs that will be converted to "man room" when the new house is built

Have you ever done anything similar?
Thanks!

I've been in the restaurant industry since I was 15. After high school i moved to Chareston, from Greenville SC, went to Johnson & Wales and put my 4years in and got an Associates degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management. Currently I am the Sous Chef at a casual/fine dining seafood restaurant called R.B's Seafood. I manage a 7 man line in the kitchen, control food cost % and basically run the kitchen. It's located on the water in Mt Pleasant SC. Been there for 5 years. I love it!! I only work days and have off every Sunday and Monday. I also do some private catering on the side.
Learned most of my 4wheel knowledge from hands-on, trial and error, friends and mag's. I learn more and more each day. I've always had a passion for trucks and off roading:rebel: Just chose to go the cooking route instead
thats my 2 cents

I have a BA in Architecture and have been drawing all of my life.....I spent 12 years working in a couple of different Architectural Firms....took 5 years off and worked for 2 large animal vets (horses only)....missed drawing and have been back in Architecture for the past 2 years...

I've always done commercial designs...everything from office, medical, churches, schools and most recently a canine luxury boarding facility (equipped with pools and fountains and 10' x 10' suites!...oh, and don't forget "Yappy Hour"!)...anything from 100sf to 100,000 sf projects

(I mostly just tick engineers and contractors off all day! ConfusedupergrinSmile....Rhonda

by the way....Nice Thread, Carl
