89 F-150 hubs
#1
well this weekend i started changing my rotors and brakes on my 89 f150. You have to take the hub off to take the rotor off. that's where the fun started. i can't get the bolts/screws out of the hub housing!:banghead:
I tried everything but cutting them out! how do i get them out?

pb blaster and a couple hour anger management break...and then try, try, try again hopefully they won't break...put um back together with anti-sieze

Probably didn't help...but taking a break always seems to help me
Waiting to build or BUY another legend! :thefinger:

You needing to remove the allen bolts for the hub? Have you tried taking a punch that will fit down in side the head and giving them a good whack? Some times a good jar will loosen them up.

I know the feeling. Cleaning up PO's crap work (not yo9ur dad - whoever did the locktite) is the majority of the PITA on most jobs. Good Luck getting it done.
