on 1980 and older 351m/400 engines you can purchase a 81-83 351m/400 ac clutch its a motorcraft part. it will work with your stock fan and its part # yb-427 . it really makes a cooling difference. i did it when i had my 79 bronco

Your right on broncomania. My 302 carries a 460 fan the 7 blade design with the heavy duty a/c clutch. It really is a cheap upgrade for any engine. If you just put the clutch on you gain cooling but if you have the five blade design as the small motors carry it's best to find the 351m 400, 460 fan. :biggthumpup:
