I have done nearly nothing, pulled the top for a while. Removed the rear seat for more caring space(mostly fire wood).
I have found the left inner door pannel can snap back and pinch your finger, that a car oil pan realy smacks the top of the diff, and that a blown sway bar banging agenst the frame sounds terrible. Am working on the oil pan and door pannel, but no funds for the sway bar links. Also needs the carb overhauled and the shifter lincage needs adjusting. Still realy want to find a title, but in good time. After URE it will get some needed attension. Check the hauler section at the end of the weekend. I should have some new pics of my crew cab by then. Broncomatt

I pulled the top off again to load a bunch of wood to haul up to the shop.
A buddy was "borrowing a bay" to put bed liner in his jeep(which translated into, help me put bedliner in my jeep) and I needed lots of wood too keep it warm. It ran ok, but still hard to start. Finally got the correct oil pan, and repainted the replacement door pannel. So I was planning on some quick maitnece and back to work it would go. While preparing to bring it in the barn for this weekend I knoticed there was antifreeze on the starter. Which explanes the constent coolent loss. I think it may have a bad headgasket. For now i pan to do what I can this weekend(trans fluid change, new oil pan, strip bed, drivers inner door panne. I also need to figure out which wheel cyl is leaking, I think I have one of those too. I am realy starting to like this truck, I think a title will be the next priority. Broncomatt

well, I pulled the tranny pan. burnt, but no debree. Pulled the oil pan, found a freeze plug leaking
Changed the door pannel, Stripped the rear mat out, surface rust only and broke no bolts. The carb is still junk so I guess I will rebuild it. Its not even the right carb for it so I guess I need to get some numbers off it so I can get started. Body rust is limeted to mild rear quarters, drivers floor the size of a dollar bill, half dollar size holes in the door jamb. By my standerds, thats very clean. Need all new door glass runs, door seals, basicly alll the rubber. Will work on that. I think I may need to fix the tital situation soon. I may be able to drive this soon :o Broncomatt

I finally got a weekend to go back to work on my full size. Got the freeze plug in, installed the tranny pan, cleaned th block, was getting the oil pump ready, and I cant find the oil pump drive. I know I heard it fall out, I even remeber picking it up and taking it too work to clean it. But I CANT FIND IT!
Dug threw the unpacked crates that I have had for more than 2 years, with untold amounts of old parts and I cant find any of the ones I used to have. If I cant find it at work I will have to get another before I can get this thing out of my shop. Its holding up other projects. Anybody got one? I also got a new battery for my cb750, and it wont start Hope somebodys weekend was more productive than mine. Broncomatt

Its officaly mine, I got some help from a friend who works with the dmv and proccesed the paperwork and its officaly mine. The title should be here in my name in the next 60 days.
Since I last mentioned this rig, I have swapped the car pan for a truck pan, put a 4bbl intake and carb on it. Found that the last owner had put the plug wires on in the wrong order. Runs strong now, some mild rod noise, but I think some thicker oil will help that. With the cash for clunkers I have scored a new sway bar link, tape deck for this ride. Chuck is going to help me with some better seats. Other then bleeding the brakes (possibly swapping the prop vavle which I have) and some other small stuff this could actuly be a decent driver. Since I have a bunch of paint left over from my honda I think I will strip it down and shoot it a nice coat of blue paint. Atleast now when I pull my eb in the shop to replace the body I have something else to wheel. :bdent::toothy12::beer::drinkbud:
