Ok guys so i'm almost sure my starter is dead, Ive heared mat and some others talk about these gear reduction starters. So does anyone have any information on them?
Next problem my power steering pump started leaking real bad today so I wanna know what is the best bang for the pump. Do I stay with the stock pump or do I upgrade to a different one?

I would say upgrade to a saginaw pump. check out alterstart on ebay for a gear red. starter...alot cheaper than I paid at a local auto store. I think I used a 1990 5.0 F-150 5-speed starter for my truck(small powerful starter)Chuck

get the high torque mini from alterstart!!!! $59 talk to Bobby...get the one wire alt 160amp from them too...$146...these guys are great...:biggthumpup:
