Currently working on obtaining raw GPS data from the forestry service so I can adapt it to Google maps and possibly GPS devices for navigation. More to come...

If you need, or want, any help... Let me know. I've got a GPS tracking app that I wanted to run last weekend, but didn't get to... I'd love to run it, and have the data direct from the source. including elevations...

Long story not so short, is...

Not sure what phone you have, but I think Chuck runs a droid OS... The app I'm running on my BB is called EndoMondo (some endorphin crackhead name), meant for fitness freaks. It works pretty well tracking my bike routes (yes, this fat kid is riding his bicycle again). I wonder how well it'll work on the trails with limited signal. Seems to work well, tracking my route and then auto upload to their site. From there you can export the gpx file and use it in any GPS device or online with google maps.

We'll see in Nov... hell, I'll give ya my phone if you're going on a trail and I'm staying at camp again (not happening this trip!).

Uploaded the KML to google maps for public use. Hit the link and save it to your maps. Then you can view it in the layers on the map of your google device.
