good deed done today
#1
Just thought I would share a good deed today...

while driving down the road heading to my girls school to pick her up, I saw a wallet in the middle of the lanes. I turned around and picked it up after the traffic cleared. Of coarse, I looked for the money 1st  and then checked to see if any info was available. There was credit cards,SS card, driver lisc. Didn't know where the street was, so I plugged the address into the GPS and it took me right to the house. No one was home, so I wrote a note explaining where and how I found it, along with my name and number.

2 hours later, I gotta phone call from "Sammy" praising me for finding it and returning it. He had a few days left before heading out to his 1st year of college ...which is why he had sooo much info in there to begin with. Made me feel good to do something like that, and then to be thanked!!!!

very nice. you never know you might loose your wallet or something, and he (sammy) might find it and remember how it was.

I really admire your spirit. You showed the kind of person you are and set a fine example for you little girl. It's not often enough, in this world of me first, that the kindness you showed gets the thanks it deserves, well done my friend!!! Smile Smile

Yesterday I noticed my neighbors yard looking a little hairy. So when I finished mowing mine I mowed theirs also. This guy keeps his yard straight. He is about 75 or so and I figured the heat was to much for him and felt great by mowing his yard. Anyway his wife tells us he had anurism(spelling?) and has been in bed for 2-3 weeks. But I give all the credit to Chuck for his all insiring story with the wallet so........ ha ha ha just kidding...... see ya
