does anyone know if you can do something to a holley carb. to run on a tilt or off camber situation? I am a fuel injection guy so I don t really know what to do to it . 650 ,single fed, vacc.sec. thanks Billy

sorry billy but thats out of the question. i think a stock 2brl. works better than any 4brl on this situation.

snipes243 Wrote:Really cause my 2brl is constantly flooding out on the trail.cratchhe:they arent 100% trail worthy either. efi or propane is the best. regular trail riding is the only time i ever had good luck with a carb and it was a motorcraft 2brl. rock crawling and hill climbing was a different story. i went through 2 truck avengers and neither one of them was worth a flip.

I run Holley spring loaded offroad needle and seats. You also need to set the floats as low as possible, just at the sight plug or so. Then either extend the bowl vents or connect them with tubing or rubber fuel line.

Right on the only thing that may be different is that normally center hung float bowl handle side inclines and hard turns better i've noticed:popc1:

I've had the Truck Avenger on mine for over 5yrs and its never stumbled. Up, down or sideways. I down jetted it to lean it out and lowered the floats as mentioned and it works great. Not better than efi or propane, basically the same thing, but better than most anything else out there.
