Can the rotor and hub be seperated? If so how do i do this?

Yes. Remove the hub body. Remove the spindle nuts that are behind it, they look like this:

and are removed with this:

Then remove the brake calipers and pull the rotor off. A bearing should fall in your lap and you have your hub and rotor completely separated.

Then if you need to replace the rotor just hammer out the wheel studs and the old rotor will fall off. Place the new rotor on and press the wheel studs back in or use a wheel stud installer to pull them back in with the lug nuts.

If you are just going to get the rotors turned or resurface leave the rotor on the hub. That way when its resurface its turned down true to the hub.
