Body armor......quarter panel protectors
#1
I bought these from a guy on Classic. To say the least, they were not "bolt on." I ended up heating them and pounding the sh*t out of them to make them better fit............finally cut them up with the plasma and rewelded them to better follow the contour of the rear quarter panel. Your can still see a small gap between them and the BC corner protectors, but at this point my sore elbow could care less. They are beefy at 3/16"........... Annie was a big help, Duke not so much.

What member on Classic did you buy from? I think that 5 or 6 have tried to produce those now - no wonder the same person doesn't keep making them.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but damn that's a nice shop! Have you always had that? I might have to come check that out sometime soon if you don't mind. You are near down town laurens aren't you?

The guy who sold me the quarter panel protectors goes by bronco60-niner on classic.

Robert-I'm living in the styx outside of Clinton, Sumpter National Forest to be exact. But only 4 miles from I26. I've had my shop for 4 years now. Absolutely you are welcome to check it out. Next time you are in the area or at Van's, or whatever, give me a shout!
