They have gone to 5 units per day this week and will go up 1 unit per week 'til they need to start calling people back. Then it's wait and see. :xyxthumbs:
I had heard this also. MTH laid off many people with 25-30 years of service with the company. Also in the rumor mill is that there is a military contract to build an armored truck. MTH and CLE are the only two truck factories left in the US. So hopefully one of us will get the business.
Quote:Things have gotten interesting here in wilkes too, our genral manager is leaving, he is the 2'nd one in 3 years, if he takes the service manager with him it would be the 5th one in 3 years. Too complicate things more, Nissan may pull the whole dealership. That would mean they close our doors untill further notice.
As the suds settle in our beer, these are the days of our lives....
Read in the newspaper last week where Salisbury's oldest car dealer, Salisbury Motor Co.(80 or 90 yrs old I think), has sold all its new car assets to Team Chevrolet. So now there is one GM dealer in town that sells all the brands for now. Sometimes change is sad.
