Thanks for your help. If I read correctly they stopped putting the NP205 in trucks in 1980? So that would mean no push button i guess. Not the end of the world though.
I also checked Advance adaptors, they sell a kit to convert a ZF S5-42 tranny to run a Dana 300 T-case from a Jeep, and also a kit to convert a ZF to run a Dana 20 from an early Bronco.
Any of those good choices?
The biggest advantage of pushbutton shift in the conversion is that It would save me spending the rest of my teens fabbing up shift linkages for it. But at the end of the day I suppose thats part of the fun, and I can't have everything I guess! upergrin:
If no pushbutton t-cases will work, I can always use that extra space on my dash to mount a couple rocker switches for some spots or something! :xyxthumbs:
