Old Gas
#4
BUCKETOBOLTS Wrote:When I had to drain my tank, I took the line from the tank and ran it to a 5 gal gas can. Then I stuffed a rag in the filler neck with my air hose. I just pressurized it enough to get the fuel to flow. I didn't want to swell the tank like a blowfish.
This is the way we drained fuel tanks at my last job. It works but as Aaron said, watch your pressure. Since you've got the plastic tank, it should hold it's shape. If you need some help, call me at 704 739 2812. I'm about 5 miles or so away. I have a small air compressor.
