Gas tank

will a 1968 rear gas tank fit in a 1971? And was there any major differences between these years thanks.

should fit fine, I think the only years that didn't swap easily were the last year...'77. has its own tank and strap system compared to the earlier years. hopefully someone can confirm that for ya,Chuck
77 built 306,Trickflow Cam/Alum Heads/dome pistons/10:1comp,nv3550,duff long arms,3.5" lift,family cage,protofab rear bumper,twin sticked, and 35KM2'sG.D.I.

The '77 was also plastic.

But all the earlier years should interchange.
