Got some work done yesterday:
1. Put new filters, O-rings, & spacers on used (new to me) injectors (old ones were too gummed up to use).
2. Installed Injectors, associated wiring harness, and upper intake.
3. Installed Explorer Crank Pulley
4. Installed BTF high steer arms.
5. Drilled out dropped pitman arm to 3/4" for heim.
6. Put Front tires on to make it 1/2 rolling chassis :!: (I haven't put the axle shafts/hubs/etc. in yet since I know it's going to have to come back apart several more times - for now it's got a ziplock bag and duct tape over the housing to keep it clean).
7. Moved rear 60 into place (12" back from stock).
8. Did some figuring/measuring with the IronBender 4Link set-up. 744x4 is going to take the Ruff Stuff rear truss and shorten it 2" so that we don't lose so much room over the pumpkin.
I need to buy an ACT sensor (old one broke when taking it out), TFI module for the Dizzy, and cap/rotor for the dizzy. I've got all my heims and misalignment spacers for the steering - just gotta buy the tube this week and I'll get the tie-rod and drag link done. Once that's done we'll figure out the best way to make the trac-bar - drop bracket, raise bracket, straight, bent, who knows????
I'm really debating turning my front knuckles before we weld the arm brackets on. I'm also thinking strongly about a STAK or Atlas. $500 for a HD Output shaft is just too much when I know I'll want to upgrade down the road anyways - just gotta find the $$ to do it now and that way I'll be able to get my angles right too.
Here are a few pics - I hope they work. It's my first time trying photobucket. The front is 87.5" wide!
