So I have been contemplating a body lift. Cant decide on what to do I want to keep my center of gravity down low. But I hear that it makes it a lot easy for my 2 future mods one being np435 and a 351w also it looks like the bumpers I picked from bucket needs some sorta body lift. But I'm also worried I have hooker fenderwell headers and worried they will look weird hanging below the body. So Do I go with 1 or 2 in. Also If I put one in do I have change any steering linkage, gas tank inlet or anything else. any help or commits are welcome.

The steering should be ok so long as your shaft will telescope. The tranny will need to be re rigged but no biggie.
A 1" is a waste in my opinion if you are adding it for maintenance access.
I think your gas lines will be fine with a 1" not sure about a 2: though.

If your body mounts are old, you may want the 1" body lift / body mounts from WH. It's new mounts and lift molded together. Pretty slick.

I like those too. Only issue is if you intend to have the ability to upgrade/ downgrade list height you are SOL w/ no mounts unless you keep your old ones.

I ran a 2" BL.
They are easy to install. Loosen all your mounting bolts. Remove one side and jack up the body. Loosly install the bolts and spacers. Then jack the other side and repeat. Tighten them all up after they are all installed and jack removed.
You will need to remove and modify the fan shroud if you still run one. I never had any troubles out of my steering or brake lines. The fuel filler tube may try to kink. Might have to lengthen it.
