If you ever consider upgrading to an explorer serp front end the PS pump is great and you can certainly do it for less than $800 though the bronco box is what is gonna jack the price up though there are alternatives like the scout box.

Question for the group. There is 79 Bronco in the area that a guy is parting out. He said it has the entire power steering system. Will it swap over to my 69 with relative ease or should I look elsewhere????

the box will fit on the frame but you have to drill another bolt hole through the frame. and then the pitman arm will be facing in the wrong direction. im not sure if you can turn the arm around or not because of the splines on the sector shaft . i bought a stock rolling chassis that im picking up tonight. it has pwr steering on it. im gonna part it out.

the box needs to be converted to a 2wd worm gear...that way it will turn the pitman arm the right way for early bronco.

Mike, why didnt you get my steering box?? its westcoast broncos rock crawler box...even tapped for hydro down the road when you want it. they also offer the bolt in bracket so you dont have to drill a new hole. Thats the system, im running on mine...:xyxthumbs:
