Project Snow Ball

You can do the 2" body lift easy. The hardest part is removing the factory body mounts since they are usually rusted or seized. A sawzall cuts them well though :bdent: If you like the look of aftermarket hoods then I would do that though. Congrats on getting it installed!

ya body lifts are easy I put a 1" on mine without any trouble. the fan gaurd and bumper gaps are the only thing to worry about.

I really like the look of the hood that I have so I'm planning to go with the body lift. I was able to shut the hood without the air cleaner and I have about an inch of space. So I'm planning to pickup a low profile cleaner and then estimate the body lift that I'll need to clear it. I'm hoping 2" will work. My gut says going > 2" will require more adjustment in other spots.

i bought mine from wild horses. i know that nix trix makes an aluminum body lift in colors. but i think the vendors are all within a few dollars of each other.
If you can't fix it with a hammer and a welder then your gonna need a new one!

i used a floor jack and jack stands with some 2x4s. u wanna keep it as level as possible. small increments so you dont damage the body any

ok, so raise up both sides to an even level, not one side at a time.
