Asking for more prayers brothers
#1
Everyone knows what they say about when it rains...I don't know if anyone recalls me having a little cough at thee M&G. I actually had the little dry cough for a week or so before and was on an antibiotic from the DR. Finished the prescription and went back to the Dr for the same symptoms. Had some chest X rays done and she believes that it has developed into pneumonia. SO a new round of drugs and treatments.

I had not seen much improvement again. Friday evening I became very short of breathe and could not walk very far.

My wife took me too the Emergency Room where they almost immediately told me I had fluid in my paracardia sac. A short ambulance ride the Charlotte and the Cardiologist drew 1000ml of fluid from my heart. He left a drain in and removed about another 600ml of fluid throughout the weekend before it stopped.

I was also assigned an infectious disease specialist and a lung expert to try to figure out where and why the fluid was collecting. I've a lot of blood work done and yesterday afternoon they performed a Bronchoscopy to get some tissue samples. If these samples are not quality for the cultures they will do another more evasive procedure letter in the week.

So far I'm feeling better, not %100, but much better. Just waiting on some results for a diagnosis before they let me go.

Bucketobolts....my thoughts and prayers are with you brother. Hopefully the specialists will be able to find the cause and prescribe treatment that will have you back to 100% shortly. In the meantime, know that all your Bronco brothers and sisters are thinking about you and praying for your speedy recovery....

Aaron, we're sorry too hear your so sick. If you need anything brother you know we are here for you. Your just a short skip south of me so holler if I can be of any help.
Take the time to rest. If there is any thing I learned as a medic it was that rest is the most importent thing. Drink lots of fluids and take it easy.
