Installing New Window Frame Pivots
#1
OK...so my vent window flop around like most EBs that are 30+ years old..I bought new pivots and wanted to get some feedback from folks who have replaced these things. If I can't get em to work, I'll be stuck with using the piece of electrical wire that I currently am using to get some air into the cab...and that just ain't workin too good. Lemme know if you ahve some helpful hints to replace these. Thanx, Brian

If they are that old I know they are rusted. Just soak them well before removing them and installation should be a snap as long as your weatherstripping is not brand new. Be careful not to jack up the metal casing around the glass.

Work slow and easy. I always get a new spring and nut when I do mine. It usualy ends up in a bigger project than expected.

@ Chuzie and BroncoMatt - Thanx for the advice. Hopefully I will have it all sorted out by the time that the WD on 21-22 AUG rolls around. Hope to see you all there. Brian
