Is there some kind of axle shaft strength test you boys do out there, or do you just test that at URE every year?? Big Grin

We don't test them, we break them there.

Wheel hard or go home.

Hey jerkey, I decided to play your little game. Disconnected my outer rear shocks and my new score is 1,436. EAT ME *****!!!

Duff's sent me replacement hydraulic shocks since the old outers got crunched. After looking at it again, we decided to eliminate the outboard shocks as the Duff's shocks will never be ideal for the extension and compression numbers we are looking for and they will always be the limiting factor in my suspension. We will replace the Duff's hydro inboards with nitrogen M series skyjacker shocks. Chuck thinks they will be enough to eliminate the need for the outboards. If not, skyjacker offers some sizes that we may be able to use for outboards.

More to come...

Did you ever get a chance to do those shock tabs on the axle tube yet. Im anxious to see if that works or helps.

Plan on doing that Monday when I get back to Charleston. Keep in mind my shock issue is due to some flaw in the Duff system or a flaw in a part they sent that forced us to move the upper coil mounts way above where they are depicted in the photos from Duffs. Unfortunately, their instructions said to adjust them until we achieved the desired ride height. Well, for us, that was 1/2" higher than the front. Anyway, because of that the shock problem was created.

I will be sure to post up the results of this shock modification though. I am confident it will make a huge difference not only in my articulation but also with how it rides on the road.
