Garage Project

sweet. looks like you have a little bit of a storage platform. they are good for getting some small crap off the floor. you should be in the dry in no time with the weather we are having right now (provided your crew has some days off from the fire dept).

Reinforcements showed up today. The sheeting is on and the shingles are about done. Also trimmed out the door framing.

very cool. when is the concrete coming?

Concrete shouldn't be too much longer. I'd like to see the mixer get here before the next rain. It would make crossing the ditch and ruts to the back yard minimal. Fridays update: Shingles are done, Tyvek is on, the door is ready for install.

The siding should go up tomorrow. The front will be brick up the sides of the door, the rest vinyl.

He also framed for the pull down ladder for the storage area.

Then he loaded up the pike of stumps and hauled them off for me.

He hopes to get the concrete here by the end of the week or first of next week. Either way he should be done by the end of next week. Then its my turn to write the check.

I have a buddy I work with that is going to do my wiring after everyone is done.

How big is your roll-up door? Looks great. Then comes the fun of building work benches, shelves, etc.

It is 18'x8', that is a foot taller than my attached garage.

They made a good jump on the siding and trim. He also worked on compacting the floor, getting it ready for the concrete.
