home safe and sound (minus 1 rear drive shaft). was a great time. thanks for putting it together chuck!
It was a great time. I think going to the Gulches is really about strategy. There are so many obstacles in a relatively small area. Next time, I would like to hit some of the lower level obstacles first just to have some fun and then hit the big stuff. I just hate to see all the carnage on the front end. In most cases, you break and you are done for the day.
I was very pleased with everyone's performance considering the wet conditions. Chuck, as always, had his multiple hats in hand and played cruise director, trail master, mechanic, and driver. Thanks, as always, for guiding us through somewhat unscathed. I escaped with no major damage other than a little dent on the front left and rear right corners. Had no issues driving home. I love my rig!!! BTW- When I filled up at the station it only took 15gal. Since I only used about 2-3 gal from Clay's can, I have to figure out why I was not picking up with 6 gal in there on that hill (assuming a gallon of burn to the station). I wonder if I have the pickup clocked wrong. Got home ok and with plenty of gas. Cruised at 80 so I could catch up with the Poobahs after we pulled off for some grub. The engine was not happy at 3K+ RPM for such a long period as noted by the 195 degree temp. Enjoy the few pics we have.

Looks like some muddy fun! Charles - What size tire are you running on the FW's? Wish we could have made it but I'm happy to have gotten a good day's work in on the orange pumpkin.
