keep in mind, this is something ive always dreamed of having. i still remember seeing the Odd Rod in the parking lot of Lowes Motor Speedway back when I had a K5 I wheeled. I was floored then...and im still crazy bout them.Ive been folowwing all the lowered build threads on classic since they started. This is what I want, I wont give up wheeling either, but it will be on a lower level than where im at now

If you kept the engine tame it could be a great daily driver, OD trans with 302 with a light chassis would yield > 16 MPG. Air bags to slam it when parked and a soft ride, not a bad I idea.

did anyone see the 1971 Bronco-based 2wd postal van in the back of the Bronco Driver Issue # 46? i thought that might make a good platform for a lowered bronco since it was set up for 2wd already and apparrently shares the same frame?

i got the picture scanned of the ad...i'll see if i can get it loaded..

You will end up sectioning and channeling the Body to get it that Low but it is Doable.A T-Bird like Mine has IRS that would be easier to adapt and just add a Mustang 2 ft end and call it done.A T-Bird is alot cheaper than using Cobra parts for IRS and you could run the Whole T-Bird Ft end also if so inclined as they are Very simple and came with a 5.0 or a Supercharged V-6.
