I am working on replacing the emergency brake cables. I may have either misplaced them or were never there. What part(s) is missing besides the spring? Can I get a pic of someones?
Also the cable that attaches to the actual brake inside the cab. Do I have the wrong one? It does not match the one in the pic. I got it from JBG.

looks like you have everything there, minus the return spring. is something not going together correctly? in the past i have had issues with the front cable (the one that goes to the parking brake itself) end up being too short. what i ended up doing there was buying a few fine thread nuts and a fine thread coupler (looks like a nut but is about 1.25" thick) to couple an extended threaded shaft into the end of the front cable. let us know what you find out.

Charles,
I now know what the problem is! JBG sent me a cable for a 77 EB and not for my 76. I doubt they will take it back 6 months later. I wonder if I can make a 77 work. I wonder how a 77s look like?

What is it not doing correctly? It has been a while since I have owned a 77. Can't recall what the difference might be.

The 77 EB cable is threaded about 4" on one end where the 65-76 EB is not???? I think I can fab a way t make it work. The threaded part may give me a lot of room for adjustments.
