new to the site, looks great. got a stock 93 5.0 xlt. just replaced front rotors, hubs , rear gear, dizzy, plugs. recently replaced fuel pressure regulator because it kept stalling and fouled the plugs, now it runs great except when getting to the top of the gear, like its gonna shift up, it starts to miss (like a cylinder cutting out) shakes the truck. goes away when i load up on the gas(auto downshift) or hit the overdrive button. any ideas, what tester should i get to try and diagnose?? thanks

Is the missing a new problem or was it doing it before the items you replaced? If new check plug wires for a good fit on cap and plugs and to make sure they are routed away from any metal and not arcing through insulation. What type of plugs did you install and are they gapped properly?

well after a month i went at it last night and remembered that the fuel tank got real low last time in the shop, so i pulled the fuel filter (incoming line) out to see if it was clogged and it was; but it was a piece of the internal spring from the line...RUNS GREAT... so it took new tps, fpr, dizzy, plugs, and a tow. when ipulled the line it just fell out. although i guess i'll have to replace that line so it will stay tight
