What a great day! We all met up this morning at Hunt Camp. Today was a light day, with trail cleanup being the main focus. Nick did bring a shovel along and dug out a few non-draining water bars.

Dutch John was in great shape. Very little trash on it, even in the camping areas! Nick got to see what a Wasp looks like up and close. He got bit about 9 times while grabbing an old can in the woods! Jay found something dead at some point- his trash bag reeked! I found a can and a bunch of wasps flew out of it after I had picked it up and put it in my Bronco! Never a dull moment...

Weather was great. Trail was a little dusty. I was hoping that they had gotten a bit more rain than they ended up getting, just to knock the dust down. Oh well. Beats being a muddy mess, as Nick said.

We ended up rinning most everything, except for Daniel. Falls Dam had the most amount of trash, by far. I think Jay and Nick got some pics of that mess!!! It looked like a garbage dump at one camp site. Let's do it again soon!

Now for the pics...

Great Day,
Again Thank you Nick and Charles. We did pick up our share of trash. I believe URE owes the club a free annual pass. Pics when I get the dust outa my eyes

I have video of the big bad bees attacking Nick, however the camera is new to me and I have no idea on how to post it here or even on my Macbook pro. Will attempt in the Am

Definitely a good day. Got to ride quite a bit and helped out as well. When we checked back in at the end of the day Janet said the 10 of us logged about 75 hours for the forest service.

We picked up 7-8 big bags of trash on the trails.

Dusty is a huge understatement, maybe another shower or 2 will do the trick. On the way out, got followed for a while by one of the forest service law enforcement vehicles, guess I checked out OK didn't get stopped.

Here a couple of pics, last one is a campsite off of falls dam.
