Disc brakes
#1
Just curious as to whether anybody out there can answer a question about the disc brake conversion. Will the disc brakes off of a TTB dana 44 fit on a solid dana 44?

Never tried that but I dont think so. I'm guessing your using a drum brake solid axle out of an eb, which would have a 6bolt pattern to the spindle. The only disk brake swap for that knuckle would be from a chevy or a scout(which uses the chevy parts).

Or you can do the Ford conversion which uses everything from the knuckles out from a 76-79 150 4x4 or 78-79 Bronco. That's what I did.

the ttb stuff uses a 6 lug pattern like an EB does. if my memory serves right (which it usually doesn't), you can actually make it all work. i vaguely remember using a spindle from an EB on a FSB. i think you will have to use the TTB outer axle shafts though. not too hard to do.
